Description
- This Magnolia Bakery-style Banana Pudding is a rich and creamy dessert featuring layers of vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and Nilla wafers. It’s an easy, no-bake treat that’s perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 ½ cups ice-cold water
- 1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1 (11-ounce) box Nilla wafers
- 4 large bananas, sliced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and ice-cold water until fully combined.
- Add the vanilla pudding mix and whisk for about 2 minutes until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to thicken.
- In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chilled pudding mixture until fully combined and fluffy.
- In a large serving dish or trifle bowl, layer Nilla wafers, banana slices, and pudding mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with pudding on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled, garnished with extra banana slices or crushed Nilla wafers.
Notes
- For best results, let the pudding set overnight for a richer flavor and softer wafers.
- Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent them from becoming mushy.
- You can make individual servings in small jars or cups for a fun presentation.
